Hall availabilty can be checked by selecting the 'Hall Availability' menu option above. This diary is updated from our booking system but please be aware that bookings not yet finalised may not show.

Please note before booking that we do not accept bookings for 16th, 18th or 21st birthday celebrations.

Use of the following items is not permitted in the halls:

Lit candles or Sparklers, Party Poppers, Confetti-filled balloons, glitter or indoor fireworks. This is due to the fire risk. We also ask that you do not use sellotape, blu tack or any other sticky material or substance which may cause damage to the walls, fixtures and fittings or cleaning equipment. Barbecues are also not permitted. Use of any of these items may result in a partial or full forfeit of your damage deposit.

Please include the following information:-

  • Hall required - Tower Hall or Village Hall
  • Whether a regular booking or single casual booking is required
  • Type of function or event
  • Date(s) or day of the week required
  • Start time and finish time of the hire*
  • * YOU MUST INCLUDE SETTING UP TIME AND CLEARING UP TIME WITHIN YOUR HIRE PERIOD - ONLY IN EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES CAN THE HIRE TIMES BE CHANGED ONCE BOOKED
  • Access to the hall by hirers, caterers, entertainers and similar is only permitted during the time booked.

30 minutes from the end of the function or event is to be included in the hire period booked to allow for cleaning and clearing of the hall by the hirer before vacation of the hall at the end of the hire period.

If you decide to book one of the halls a contract will be sent to you. For a Casual (one-off) booking you will have 14 days to complete and return the contract along with a £50 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The balance is then payable at least one month before the event date and refundable damage deposit at least one week before.

Regular hirers are usually invoiced on a monthly basis.
